Step 1:

Go to Apple () menu and choose, System Preferences.

Step 2:

Select the spotlight app.

Step 3:

Click on privacy.

Step 4:

Click and drag a drive or folder to the list.

Step 5:

Confirm “ok” if asked.

Step 6:

Next you will remove the item that you just added by highlighting it and then by clicking on the “-” button which is located below.

Step 7:

Close preferences and check your drive from:

() -> About this Mac -> Storage.
